SCHENCK Disocont TERSUS Conveyor Belt Scale

Schenck Disocont Tersus : The Modular Electronic System for Continuous Weighing and Feeding

The DISOCONT Tersus is a state-of-the-art modular electronic system designed for continuous weighing and feeding applications. It is ideal for scenarios where the measurement, feeding, or batching of bulk material flows is required. This versatile system can be employed with:

- Loss-in-weight scales (for measuring or feeding)

- Weighfeeders

- Conveyor Belt Scale

- Mass flow meters and mass flow feeders

- Solids flow meters and solids flow feeders

- Belt weighers

- Screw feeders

- Hopper scales

Preferably, DISOCONT Tersus electronics are integrated locally into the scale mechanics, forming a cohesive mechatronic system. This integrated approach offers numerous advantages:

-Reduced Engineering Costs: Interface minimization means only one unit needs to be planned.

-No Control Cabinet Required: Simplifies installation and reduces costs.

- Minimal Cabling: Only the power supply and a data cable are necessary.

- Simplified Service: Having mechanics and electronics in one location makes maintenance straightforward and efficient.

For specific requirements, DISOCONT Tersus electronics can also be installed in a control cabinet using conventional technology. The system seamlessly integrates into automation structures via fieldbuses using the Ethernet interface included in the basic scope of delivery, or it can be equipped with the appropriate communication module to meet various connectivity needs.
